Day 1-2: (Hotel in Tel Aviv and Haifa)

Departure Kigali on Ethiopian Airlines via Addis Ababa to Tel Aviv. Arrive at Addis late evening around 2000hrs, and then connect at 2300 hrs for the flight to Israel's Ben Gurion Airport arriving at 0340 hrs.

Reception by our representative and check in at hotel in Tel Aviv to relax till mid-day. Light lunch with a soft drink and drive along the coastal highway to Caesarea, visit the antiquities from Roman, Byzantine and Crusader periods. Continue the drive to Haifa and check in at the Hotel. Dinner between 1900-2100 hrs & overnight at Hotel Gallery or Similar / Haifa.

Day 3: History Begins to Unfold

After breakfast at 0800hrs, Haifa, city tour, drive along Panorama Road with a view from Mt. Carmel over the Haifa Bay and the Persian Gardens (World Center of the Bahai denomination). Visit the Stella Maris Monastery. Continue drive to Muhraka on Mount Carmel & to the Druse Villages on Mt. Carmel, Ussefiya and Daliat-El-Carmel, Continue to Akko/Ptolemais (Acre), major Canaanite and Phoenician port. Visit the Fortress of Acre, the Great Mosque, the walls of the city of Acre and churches. Light lunch with a soft drink at one of the local restaurants along the old harbour. Visit the "Kiryon" mall in "Motzkin" or the Grand Canyon mall in Haifa, back to hotel.

Day 4: Get ready for a life changing experience.

After breakfast at 0800hrs, Drive to Meggido/Har-megiddo, visit the excavations; continue to Mount Tabor and Mount Gilboa. Drive via Cana (Wedding Church) to Nazareth, visit the Holy Sites of Christianity, Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph's Church, Mary's Well. 1300 hrs: Light lunch with a soft drink at one of the local restaurants drive to Mount Tabor & Mount Gilboa then to Tiberias on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5: Fish and Bread for 5000!

Drive along the shore of the Sea of Galilee to Tabgha, with the Byzantine mosaic floor of the Church of Multiplications.
Boat ride on the lake to Capernum and a light lunch with a soft drink in a local restaurant.

Continue to Capernaum/Kefar Nahum remains of a synagogue from the 3rd century and continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus gave his famous Sermon. Continue to Banias/Paneas (Caesarea Philippi), one of Jordan River's three tributaries, the site of Jesus's Baptism by John the Baptist (Baptism option). Drive to the Golan Heights. Return to Tiberias.

Day 6: The Center of the World!

After breakfast, drive to Beth Shean (Scythopolis) one of the oldest cities in the Holy Land, visit the excavations from the Roman Byzantine Periods (Roman theater, streets, temples and much more). Drive through the Jordan Valley to Jericho, Jesus passed Jerico on his final journey to Jerusalem (if possible), visit the Excavations of Tal-El-Sultan. Lunch on the way in a local restaurant. Drive to St. Georges Monastary, distant view and explanation, an optional camel ride on the way then continue to Jerusalem. Drive to Bethlehem (meaning: House of bread in Hebrew and House of meat in Arabic), visit the Church of Nativity and look over the Shepherds Fields. Return to Jerusalem.

Day 7:

Drive to Qumran, visit the caves in which the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, see the ruins of the Monastery of the Dead Sea Sect. Continue to the Massada Fortress overlooking the Judean desert and the Dead sea: Ascent and descent by cable car – walking tour around the Fortress with explanations. Continue to the shore of the Dead Sea/ "Yam Ha Melach" (the salt sea) (400 metres below sea level – the lowest point on Earth) bathing possibility. Light lunch at the Ein Gedi.

Day 8:

Ascent to the Mount of Olives, panoramic view of Jerusalem. Walking tour of the Old City. Mount Zion; visit the Upper room of the Last Supper. St. Anna Church with Pools of Bethesda. Antonia Fortress. Walk through the Via Dolorosa – Golgotha, Lithostrotos, Ecce Homo Arc, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (14 stops of Jesus) Light lunch at a local restaurant in the old city. Visit the Garden Tomb. Walk through the Jewish Quarter, to the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) and the Cardo Maximus, a Roman Street. Walk through the bustling Oriental Bazaar. *** Maalit ha zman (Time lift) a Virtual cinema taking you into 2000 years of Jerusalem history. Day 9: Hotel Jerusalem gate – late check out 1900 hrs with dinner.

After breakfast sightseeing in Jerusalem during the day and back to hotel around noon, till 1800 hrs, dinner and then drive to airport for homeward journey. 2000hrs: Drive to Ben Gurion International Airport for final departure to Kigali.

NB: Everyday and at each location in the Holy land there shall be group prayers
